Finally..

Seeing the looks on my parent's face seeing me up there on stage receiving my diploma was priceless! it made me feel that for once i make them proud.

HUGE (was)

whose the Biggest Loser now?! my compilation of before and after shot of me during the days that i was being ridiculed of my friends as being "batchoy" and for the record: i lose 50 pounds! in just 1 whole semester. and no, that's not because i take any kind of illegal drugs! (as what my friends suspected it) that was pure and all lean diet. dish out carbs, junkfoods, sodas and deprivation of sleep and rice LOL. wooh! to hell what i have just been through! but hey! its all worth it.

Cinema Paradiso

The first time i have watched this movie was 2 years ago from that moment on i said to myself that "this is one of the best films i have set my eyes on". tbis is also the first film that made me cried buckets of tears! but even thought i was overwhelmed of how great this movie is i was still clinging up for more cos some parts were not actually explained and there's a puzzle that needs to be solve. but then again i thought that that was all it. then two years later, i found out through some research (thanks to wikipedia) that they released a director's cut of this movie and that is where they explained everything! in the director's cut the movie lasted for almost 3 hours long while in the theatricals cut it only lasted for about 2 hours long. as i started to watched it, memories came back on the first day i've seen this film memories of toto and his mischievousness's in the projection booth to his teenage life where he started to fall in love to elena which by the way never worked out between them up to his adult life where he finally convince himself to go back to jingled where he promised alfredo that he will never come home ever again because life in jingled has come to an end for him. there are lots of parts that has been cut from the theatrical was shown in the director's cut that really surprised me, like when toto lost his virginity to the hooker, why boccia didn't came back with the film, why did elena didn't showed up, alfredo betrayed toto and elena, the profession now of toto 30 years later. everything was all explained! and finally the thing i was longing to know about. is that it for toto and elena? ah uh. they've met! well of course elena as old aging woman and as toto too. they do still love each other and hoping they can continue the love that they left 30 years ago but unfortunately things cant go as what they wanted elena has a family of her own with 2 kids and what schoked me the most. she ended up with boccia! toto;s childhood friend. as to toto he never gotted married. argh! i once cried again watching the director's cut. i have puzzled in everything that needs to be puzzle. i was glad and fortunate to have seen this one of a kind masterpiece!
