Across the Universe is a movie that i think all beatles fanatics should definitely go watch it (myself included).its musical that justify all the beatles songs, almost all of my favorite Beatles song are used in this movie. the song that they chose perfectly suited in every scenes. i gotta admitted I'm not really a huge musical junky, but when i found out the all the music here are taken from the Beatles i didn't hesitate to watch it and glad i did! i was satisfied and fulfilled. As someone who have no idea what had happen in the mid-60's, I first want to thank everyone who had anything to do with the making of this film! Your timing could not of been better! You helped me to be more open and vividly understand it all, the passion and idealism that made up the mid-late 60's. I also enjoyed being bathed in all the very colorful special affects. The 60's and early 70's were a time of outrageously bold colors and design. Something brilliantly portrayed in Across the Universe! And, of course, last and most importantly, the Beatles! Their music reaches deep into my soul. You gave me insights into the meaning of their tunes that after all these years never crossed my mind!
